The Coffee Plant and its Culture in Brazil
Originally native from the mountains of Ethiopia. Produces many white flowers that turn into coffee beans. Coffee started to spread in tropical Asia and European colonies in the Caribbean in the 18th century. In 1725 the first seeds entered Brazil coming from plantations in French Guiana. By the mid 19th century, Brazil became and still is the biggest coffee supplier mainly of the Coffea Arabica species. Brazilian production runs around 40 million bags (60kg) per year and is responsible for 17% of all coffees consumed in the world.

Coffee Storage
To ensure fresh, rich tasting coffee, transfer ground coffee into an airtight, opaque container and store in a cool, dry space or keep in refrigerator after opening the vacuum sealed package.




Brewing Instructions
For best results, use only fresh filtered water.
Start with two leveled off tablespoons of ground coffee for
each 6 fluid oz (180ml) of water.
Ideal water brewing temperature is 195 - 205 F (91 - 96°C)
To reduce coffee strength, add more hot water.
